History
The Bookworm has been serving Omaha and the region since 1986. With over 6,000 square feet of sales space, The Bookworm has earned a reputation for an excellent selection of books on a broad range of topics, and for a friendly staff that reads and knows the books they sell. The Bookworm is an independent, family business, owned and managed by Phillip and Beth Black.

Services
Baker’s Dozen
After purchasing 12 books, Baker’s Dozen participants earn a credit equal to the average price paid for those 12 books, which can be applied to the next purchase. Sign-up in store and we'll keep your information on file, no need to carry a card!

Book Clubs
The Bookworm has over 100 active registered book clubs and 1,200 active book club members.Book clubs are supported with dedicated staff, special discounts, book club special events, an annual book club open house and special presentations to book clubs by publisher’s representatives. The Bookworm offers in-house book clubs that you can attend when the featured books fit your interests and schedule. Readers receive a 20% book club discount on the books selected for discussion. The Bookworm provides facilitators to help lead the discussions for many of the in-house book clubs. If you have suggestions for groups, or are willing to facilitate discussions, please let us know

Bookfairs
The Bookworm’s bookfair program is available for local churches, schools, and nonprofit organizations. The Bookworm recognizes the uniqueness of each organization and works to make the title selection relevant to the needs of the group.

Pet Friendly
The Bookworm welcomes well-behaved pets on leashes. We host pet adoption programs with local rescue groups.

Gift Wrapping
The Bookworm offers free gift wrapping on purchases.

Shipping
The Bookworm will ship your purchases within the U.S. using UPS standard ground service or the U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail, depending on which is more economical. Shipments are insured for the value of the items being shipped, and can be tracked at UPS or USPS if your email address is provided to us when shipping.  Shipments to post office box numbers and prisons must be sent Priority Mail via the U.S. Postal Service. Shipments outside the U.S. will be shipped using Priority International Shipping from the US Postal Service.
