About: Let's celebrate Maureen Beat's new storybook, Letters to Lucky! Visit The Bookworm for treats, sidewalk chalk, & more... And of course a meet-and-greet with the author to get your book(s) signed.

Letters to Lucky is a beautifully illustrated children's book with a lesson. It is based on a true story of adopting an abandoned dog. Letters to Lucky tells the story of companionship and what it means to become a part of a family.
Lucky became so popular that this beagle had her own mailbox! She received fan mail from the children in the neighborhood. The rhyming verse format makes Lucky's story even more appealing to younger children, especially for early readers in primary grades. Hidden "easter eggs" are found within the beautiful watercolor illustrations.

Pick up a copy in-store on the day of the event, or order your signed copy of Letters to Lucky via the button below. For personalized copies, please put "Personalized to" and the correct spelling of the recipient name in the Order Comments line. Order comments left blank will be assumed to be just signed.
